Industrial Size Honey We have over 10 varieties of honeys available to industrial ingredient customers. Many of our honeys are available in 3100 lb. totes and also smaller 640 lb. or 60 lb. containers. Click here to view our Industrial size Honeys Filtering Honey is heated to a mild temperature to destroy osmophillic yeasts and to delay crystallization. It is then filtered with final filtering composed of two 150-mesh micron filter bags. Capacity We are equipped to service full tanker loads, totes, drums, 5 gallon & 3.5 gallon pails in truckload quantities. Quality Assurance We have 2 full time staff in-house; they spend a significant amount of their time dedicated to monitoring the quality of the honey. We spend over $3,000.00 each month to test for the following concerns: Microbiology Tests, Purity (adulteration), and Impurity (antibiotics & pesticide residues). Flavor & Color GloryBee Honey has excellent taste and is accurately graded for color to assure quality control for our customer's use. Flavor is normally the most important quality of honey to the natural food industry and to some manufacturers. We always purchase the very best tasting honeys available at any given time. The honey is then graded for color, but this is mainly a requirement for manufacturers who are concerned with the color of the honey affecting the color of their product. Additional information on color grading can be obtained from a brochure called "Honey from nature's food industry" provided by The National Honey Board. GloryBee is happy to provide this brochure to industrial users at no charge. Organic At GloryBee Foods, organic products are very important to us which is why we now have certified organic honey available. Our organic honey has to pass the highest standards of quality before we can certify it. All of our organic honey is certified by Quality Assurance International so you know it is truly organic. Certification We have gone to great lengths and expense to become fully certified so that you can be guaranteed the highest quality honey possible. Our certifications include: American Institute of Baking (AIB) Certification We have adopted the AIB Consolidated Standards throughout our honey making processes. Initially we have gained the AIB Rating of Excellent. By doing so we are confident that all aspects of food safety are covered. We will continue to monitor all of our processes and make improvements to maintain and improve this rating to the highest levels possible. GloryBee AIB Certificate Kosher Certified by Orthodox Union All of the honey we make is Kosher Certified for quality. To make sure we have taken the proper steps to maintain the kosher integrity of our products we have implemented a product approval process that requires that all products are approved by our kosher supervisor before being introduced into our facilities. Orthodox Union is one of the most recognizable names in kosher supervision and we are proud to have the OU symbol on our products. Organic certification by Quality Assurance International (QAI) We are also a certified organic handler/manufacturer. All of the organic products we manufacture, repack, and distribute are certified organic by QAI, Inc. To ensure the integrity of organic products we have implemented a very strict organic program and we monitor the processes daily to make sure we are continually making improvements to our program.
